Στην πρώτη εκθέση θα παρουσιαστεί μια εργασεία της Προβιντάς Ρός, την οποιά η ίδια περιγράφει ως εχής:
Το πρότζεκτ που παρουσιάζω στο Ντιζάινινγκ Πατρα Αρ.1 του ατελιέ, ονομάζεται Κριμμένα χωράφια της Πάτρας, και αναπτύχθηκε γύρω από τον προβληματισμό της προμήθειας τροφήμων στην πόλη.
Το ενδιαφέρον μου σε αυτό το θέμα, προέρχεται από την πόλη καταγωγής μου, το Παρίσι, όπου αναπτύσσονται διάφορες κινητοποιήσεις με επίκεντρο την αλλαγή του τρόπου προμήθευσης, αγοράς και κατανάλωσης τροφής στην πόλη. Οι πόλεις δημιουργήθηκαν όταν οι άνθρωποι ξεκίνησαν να επιδημούν, κατά την Νεολιθική περίοδο, όπου κατάφεραν να καλλιεργούν την τροφή τους και να τα εκτρέφουν ζώα τους.
Επομένως, φαίνεται πως η αγροκαλλιέργεια προήλθε από τη ζωή στην πόλη. Ένα από τα κυριότερα ενδιαφέροντα μου είναι να βρίσκω τρόπους επανένταξης της αγροκαλλιέργειας στις πόλεις μας, στις οποίες έχει ξεχαστεί.

We present a project by Providence Roche in the first exhibition, which she describes as follows:
The project I am showing as the Designing Patras Number One of the ατελιέ, called Hidden Fields of Patras is created around the problematic of providing food in the city.
My interest for this topic is coming from my native city, Paris, where different movements are growing which maily focus on changing our way of providing, buying and consuming food in the city. Cities had been created when humans started to be sedentary, that was in the Neolithic age, when we became able to grow our own food, and breed our own animals.
Consequently agriculture seems to be the origin of life in cities. One of my main interest is to find ways to reintegrate agriculture in our cities, where it has been forgotten.
